Hey whats up everyone? So Im not new to fasting at all. Have been fasting on and off since 2018. My record is 19 days, and last year I got up to 227 until I got comfortable and ballooned back up to 257 (although it doesnt look like a 257 at all..but anyway..). I could give you guys all the excuses in the book but at the end of the day it is truly just me

So with my new protocol, I want to try something new. A mixture of everything I have experiemented with. So here is the protocol as it stands

Feb-OMAW-one meal a week. Having this weeks meal on Saturday and every Friday the rest of Feb. March-rolling 72’s. Essentially eating one every three days. There will be a 3 day break due to my buddies coming fora mini vacation at the end of the month. April-rolling 48’s. Same as March, but eating one every teo days May-OMAD-eating one a day with some 48’s mixed in the middle of the week

I am going to go as low carb as possible and workout as much as my body allows. Also going to supply myself with electrolytes.

This is hard for me because due to my job, I am around tons of food daily, but only time will tell how far I go with this..

Weekly updates will be implimented as well…so with all that said..

LFG shall we?

Answer

It sounds like you may benefit by focusing less on the fasting side and more on the eating side. To some fasting can be fun because it is a challenge to hit; you are focused, you see results, you have fun. The problem is that when that stops you are back to the real source of your problems, your diet.

If you develop the discipline to fast lest but while doing so build the better eating habits over the long term it may work better. You want to convert your saying no to eating habits not as short term challenges but as long term practices.
