I am interested to learn the proper way to start an autophagy, because of how dr. Fung explained it will replace old cells to good cells. However i am not overweight and I just start lifting at the gym. Is it still good for people like me to do intermittent fasting? Will i have energy to lift? Thank you.
If you aren’t overweight, and you are possibly attempting to put on some muscle mass, fasting may not be the best choice, but that is neither here nor there.
Also, starting out on the fast you will struggle with energy the first couple of days if you decide to do it. However, you have to make sure you are getting in your calories in the time window, or you will likely see more weight loss than you may be seeking.
