I’m working my way up to 48 - 72 hours fasts for weight loss, but I also have chronic kidney disease and neuropathy (but not diabetes). I am wondering if anyone has had any success with fasting to help some if these conditions and if autophagy might help repair nerve and kidney damage.
No, if you have kidney damage you need doctors supervision. Do not try and do it yourself - when you do extended fasts it puts extra strain kidneys as burning releases fat bound toxins into your blood which have to be filtered by your kidney.
