Avoiding UTIs when restricting water

I would like to do a dry fast, but as soon as I get dehydrated, I start getting the ‘it hurts a bit to pee’ feeling which i would associate with a UTI, so I have to drink water to resolve that. Does anyone else have a similar situation and have you figured out how to dry fast, and not irritate your bladder?

Answer

I know what you mean about that feeling, it automatically makes me really nervous. I have not had a UTI in ten or so years since changing my digest and lifestyle but I will on occasion feel that uncomfortable feeling when dehydrated and I immediately worry. I find that it passes and I just need to relax. I know grin and bear it isn’t the best advice but it’s all I got! Rest assured if it is a UTI the bacteria will die off pretty quickly once you start getting 48 hours in.
