Back into fasting after Holiday indulgence. Anyone else?

I ate recklessly on turkey day, as I had agreed to allow myself to do. I’d lost 30 pounds (down from 178 to 148) since I began this journey in late July. I’ve stuck to it through my child’s hospitalization and a few other emotional and mental upheavals of my own (and general life/ schedule upheavals).

I decided that allowing myself to enjoy the holiday was more than fair given I’ve come a long way. That being said, my one day of indulgence jumped me up 5 pounds.

I ate keto yesterday and planned to today as well, but that was a bigger weight increase than I anticipated, so I’m going to continue from last night’s “fast” into an 84 hour water (and electrolytes) fast.

If anyone cares to join me, I’d love some company!

I’m in. I’ve done Alternate Day fasting and keto for decades on and off and lost over 100 pounds, but only recently discovered this group. Trying longer fasts now to heal my PCOS and the resulting weight gain. I did a 7 day fast a few months ago and want to build up to 14 days.

We have really similar stories… I also started fasting late July and went from about 170 to 145 since then. I need to keep going and am on day 2 of a 9 day fast. Ideally I would like to get down to 130 lbs or less. I will break into the 130s by the end of this year…first time in my adult life and I can’t wait. :)

Ended my fast at 130 hours :( . Am 147 pounds. I guess I hit my main goal, to drop the weight I gained… but I really thought it was water weight or something and would drop away quickly and THEN I would lose more. I’m disappointed, honestly.
