Answer

I’m very small quantities is ok. Just don’t consume other fats with it eg, have a piece of toast w/no butter, and a protein shake with like one piece of bacon a cup of Strawberries. That’s a healthy meal. Plenty of fat carbs and protein.

Bacon doesn’t do anything special though so no need to go out of your way to consume it.

Answer

No one food is inherently “healthy” or “unhealthy,” what makes something unhealthy is how frequently you eat it, and how much

Having bacon on the weekends for breakfast isn’t a big deal. Having bacon as a replacement for all your other meats throughout the week, that would be unhealthy.

Answer

It also depends on what you eat it with. I eat it with other protein, rather than starch which is a sugar. I can’t imagine it being “healthy” on any level, its mainly fat, salt, nitrates. Add it for flavour..

Answer

It’s relative, like most things in life. If you are morbidly obese and decide to eat low carb to lose weight, then the benefits you would get from losing weight while eating bacon far outweigh the negatives of eating bacon.

Answer

Actually bacon is quite healthy. Saturated fat will raise your LDL, put not your small dense LDL and oxidizes less than polyunsaturated fats, so about equal for total health. Nitrites and nitrates are a minor concern if that https://chriskresser.com/the-nitrate-and-nitrite-myth-another-reason-not-to-fear-bacon/ , but I do make my own without additives as I make lard at the same time and waste nothing.
