I vaguely some old Jordan Feigenbaum (M.D. and strength coach) stuff from probably 7 years ago at this point, saying that it’s normal to see elevated serum creatinine levels with creatine supplements, but as long as it corresponds to increased urine creatinine levels and/or normal creatinine clearance rates it’s not actually a sign of kidney dysfunction.

But that’s something to discuss with a trusted physician before you take the word of me, random internet person.

Answer

I just went through this exact situation with my bloodwork. Luckily, my doctor looked back at my old bloodwork and noticed previously my levels had always been normal and indicated I was likely just dehydrated at the time of the bloodwork. He had me re-do it and make sure to be properly hydrated before and it came back in the normal range the second time. Try increasing your water intake and re-test to see if that helps.

Also, he told me that increases creatinine levels in the blood are a potential indication (i.e. side effect) of kidney damage. NOT the cause. So if your creatinine levels are spiking due to supplementation, that will not cause kidney damage that doesn’t already exist.

I’m not a doctor though so worth talking to your doctor about this and re-testing when more hydrated.
