Belly fat

Hello people,

I have one month and a half to fulfill a promise I made to myself at the beginning of this year I’ve gained a lot of weight due to stress and working from home, I came to dry fasting after reading Dr filonov’s book. I am planning on rolling out multiple 36 to 40h fasts , some people call it ADF but I’m planning on doing dry ADF, basically 40h of dry fasting followed by an eating window of 8 , rinse and repeat. Do you think this will help me lose some belly fat ? Has anyone experienced with a fasting protocol like this one

Thanks

Answer

Yeah that will work wonders to lose weight. The advantage doing the fasting dry is you feel warmer and are less hungry.

Two things you should be careful of: 1) ensure during your feeding windows that you are getting enough nutrients, only eat high quality, whole food, and you might want to supplement specifically minerals like magnesium/calcium/sodium. Potassium is hard to supplement, so just eat meat, potatoes, leafy greens and avocados as your diet allows. 2) don’t force yourself to stick to a strict regime - you might feel like you need to make your eating windows longer for example a day or two. Try and stay a bit flexible and sensitive to how you’re feeling. It also might be more difficult for a while if you’ve never fasted before.

Good luck, hope it goes well!
