Best Eating Window.

I’m currently on a 7 day fast, for autophagy and to jumpstart ketosis. I want to come off of the fast into an IF schedule. I plan to do 16:8, but trying to figure out the best times for my eating window. What are some of y’all’s eating windows and why did you choose that particular window? I work from home, so I can really eat any time of the day.

I’m doing 18:6 ish I fast from 1800 to 12:00. For me it’s easier because I didn’t change my dinner timer 17:30 ish) and I was use to always eat a bit in morning at around 5:45. Now I just take 1-2 black coffee and water until noon and it’s going great!

I started at 287 the 31st July and now I’m at 266.4. I do body weight training (calisthenics) the mornings and I go for a small run or a ruck march after work. Than shower then dinners. And I try to do a CI-CO at the same time. Some days it’s harder cause I eat in a cafeteria.

I’m not at home atm so it’s easier for me to redit to snak at night because I would need to go at the grocery or the corner store

My meal time has been 18-19 for the longest time. I use going to bed as a way to not allow the hunger that otherwise comes 3-4 hours after eating. When I tried eating earlier, I always succumbed to eating a 2nd time before going to bed.

Lunch break at noon and family dinner 5:30-6:30 PM ish so that makes it easy. Just eat at convenient times. If not hungry, don’t eat. Stop when full (learn what that feels like again). No snacking. That has been about it for me.

I am not willing to do without my coffee with a touch of sugar and cream when I start work in the morning. So my eating window is 9-5. It works perfect for me. I wasn’t a late-night snacker anyway and I actually like getting dinner done and out of the way by 5 p.m. I typically go to bed around 10, so I sleep through a lot of it.
