If you are fasting for some kind of healing and have the bodyfat to spare, shoot for a week.

Based on what I’ve heard on various bro-science podcasts, roughly 5 days into a fast is when the potential for post-fast regenerative processes increase dramatically. That’s why Valter Longos “fasting mimicking diet” has you re-feed at 5 days for example. And past a week it’s diminishing returns. So theres no harm in going longer but theres also less benefit.
