Some prefer mornings and midday, others midday and night. I recommend staying away from very early and very late as your metabolism hasn’t started there yet.
I recommend incorporating lunch for social reasons.
Above all, experiment. The point is to eat less and eliminate snacking, so if you feel unsatisfied and tempted to snack, that’s not ideal. There’s no one size fits all since my day might star earlier or later than yours.
The energetic feeling when working out is almost exclusively caused by a proper warm-up rather than a pre game meal.
