Any free range organic chicken from any supermarket will be fine. You should expect to pay anywhere from £7 to £15 for a very decent chicken.
If a chicken is cheaper than that it’s a little scary what they’ve had to do to make it so cheap. Tesco used to do two chickens for a fiver, which is horrifying.
