Best way to break a 7-day fast

So I’m doing a 7-day fast on Monday three right now and I’m trying to think about what I should do on the day actually start eating again. I was thinking about Mary downing a probiotic first and then waiting about half hour to eat? But I don’t even know what to eat for my first meal or how much to eat for that day

I’m breaking my first 90 hour fast (yay me!!!!) at noon with bone broth. I was planning on avocado a few hours later and then some salmon with spinach cooked in butter. Hoping to avoid the digestive issues other folks talk about. Good luck on your 7 day!

I find eggs cooked in some butter or olive oil or coconut oil with no seasoning (maybe some cheese if you want an omlete) is best, as it minimizes insulin spike and keeps the body primarily burning fat as fuel (so it extends some benefits of the fast in a way)….

Bone broth is fine if you can handle it…gives some folks GI issues….

Greek yogurt is fine as well, use something like the 5% Fage….a few berries is ok, if you need it to tolerate the yogurt….

Ffs this sub.. Mate, eat whatever you want, it’s only been 7 days nothing bad will happen from you eating a steak or McDonald’s. You body is able to handle that.

I break 14 days fast with whatever I want.

So I usually break a 5+ day fast with bone broth. After this I typically eat yogurt and fruit (strawberry) and then move onto lean protein and veggies. Every time I broke a fast with high levels of carbs (I regretted it later that day or next day).
