Looking into prolonged fasting for healing. Any advice for prepping (what to prep with and for how long) as well as how to break + refeed. I have experience with short 48-72 hr dry fast, but I am going for deep healing with this prolonged one, and I just want to be best prepared to have a successful fast. Thank you all!
Not sure how to prep before (I’m still looking for answers about that myself) but for breaking the fast some baking soda and water to be easy on the kidney. Then sip water for a while and finnally bone broth is probably the most optimal from what I’ve read.
I’d recommend you get the book below. It explains everything you need to know on dry fasting including an optimal diet pre and post fasting. It’s definitely one of the most comprehensive books on the topic.

You could prep with Dr. Filinovs techniques. I don’t have them off the top of my head but i actually found it hard to find some of the products he was saying to use.
If you want the most successful 7 day dry fast I’d recommend eating keto for 1 week while drinking snake juice(salt, potassium, magnesium, baking soda) every day & then jump into the dry fast
Drink a lot of water but more importantly eat a lot of water dense fruits n veggies. Watermelon, oranges, tomatoes, celery, lettuce, bell peppers, cucumbers etc. Take ur vitamins everyday. I just prepped for a dry fast for the first time (I usually just jump in) and I’m really really happy with the way I went about it. I’m currently on the evening of day 4 and my mouth hasn’t even started to feel dry yet. Last time I did a dry fast I was starting to feel dehydrated after 2.5 days. So I think all the high water contented foods were a huge help.
