Hey guys! I’m currently on my 9th day of my water fast and I’m feeling great. I was thinking about how I will keep the weight that I’ve lost during the fast off and not gain it again when I end the fast, what’s the best way? What should I eat, what’s the best way to break the fast (watermelon is the one I’ve heard the most), should I exercise - I need all the advice I can get!

Watermelon contains a good amount of sugar, so expect to gain all of your water weight back immediately. If you really are committed to keeping it off, you want low to zero carbohydrates and high fat, preferably from an animal source. If you really think you need something light, a good bone broth would be fantastic. Otherwise if you’re really opposed to eating animals, you can fall back on olives, avocados, or macadamia nuts to start.
