Answer

I just use Google Sheets. Make a spreadsheet to plan your weekly shop and then eat that and only that. Obviously you’ve got to look up the nutritional info but I’d recommend doing that anyway considering the differences between brands. But then I’m a nutrition nerd and I enjoy it, YMMV

Answer

MyNetDiary, despite its goofy name, is hands-down the best nutrition tracking app I’ve seen in many years of trying several tracking apps. Cronometer is good too, but I dropped that for its lack of Fitbit integration.

MyNetDiary is not free. I do not consider this a negative because that means its feature set is not influenced by the dangerous advertising incentive. I am not the product.

Edit: macros are front-and-center of the app’s dashboard along with calories.

MyFitnessPal does pretty much everything you need for free as far as tracking goes, and unless you want to be super anal about it to a granular level (pay for it), the free version will do you just fine 🤌

Answer

I used MyFitnessPal for a couple of years, but I read some good reviews on MacroFactor, so I gave it a try. Turns out I like MacroFactor a lot better. The user interface on MacroFactor works better for me and I like the Food Logger better.
