Check out precision nutrition’s macro calculator (free and online). You input your nutrition/lifestyle goals and it will give you not only macro estimates but what that food “looks like” in portion sizes on your plate.

For example, palm sized portion of protein, two thumbs worth of fat sources, open hand of produce, etc. Worth a shot to get you in the right headspace for prepping and shopping without using scales and measuring tools constantly!

The apps will help you with all of that, but the more important part is to adjust on your own. Listen to your body and how it responds to the plan you choose, and mix it up from there.

Not feeling as much energy during workouts? Add carbs, or concentrate eating them before/after workouts.

Not gaining muscle the way you want? Adjust protein accordingly.
