Big guy questions

What’s up guys, 6’5 340 lbs here, been in football all through highschool and got massive out of high school through powerlifting, I have tons of muscle under this coat of 7k calories a day that I want to show. I do things in extremes. Saturday 1/8/22 I started 20:4 fasting after my last heroic 7-8k bull meal Friday. Goal is 280 but a mean 280, think Eddie hall weight loss if you’re familiar. I’ve started training 3 times a day, morning boxing circuit, full body weightlifting afternoon, boxing from 6:30-8:30 at night. This is day 4 and whew man I’m past the hunger phase through willpower but my god would I love a bowl of cereal or a bowl of ramen during my eating period, but I’m afraid it’ll ruin my hard work. Also overeating is a fear, hell all I know is overeating. Idk maybe I’m way overthinking this

TL:DR If im a large muscular man can I be a bit more lenient in how much I intake and maybe a bowl of cereal or some ramen just because I love em

Answer

One of the benefits of IF is that pushing all your calories into a smaller window gives you some more freedom and flexibility with food choices. Does that mean you can have Lucky Charms and instant ramen all the time in unlimited quantities? No, but you can still have thing you enjoy from time to time.

Answer

What IF will get you along with limited carbs is putting your body in ketosis. Where it burns ketones for energy rather than glucose. Which is to say your metabolism has to run at a much higher pace to keep up ketone production.

I could be off I am no expert, but that is my understanding.

Answer

I think you are over thinking it.

Since your doing a cut phase. Figure out how many calories you need consume to lose weight and stay at or under that. If that day you want to slot the calories to ramen go ahead. As long as your in a deficit you’ll lose weight.

Also to minimize muscle loss while in a cut make sure you prioritize you protein macros.
