Is it okay to take a biotin supplement while extended fasting?!?
From what I’ve seen on some of Dr. Fung’s videos on YouTube, supplements are fine to take as long as your body tolerates them well. I know B vitamins cause me to be very nauseous if I take them on an empty stomach. Also, some vitamins are absorbed better with food, so if you want maximum absorption, take with a meal.
