Birthday fasting and it’s going great!

(31F CW: 128lbs) Today is my birthday and I built up my fasting over the past two weeks; 14, 16, 18 and 20 hour fasts to start and just completed 2 rolling 24 hour fasts as well. I’ve lost 8 pounds thus far. When I woke up today I realized that I weigh ten pounds less than my birthday last year!

There were some bumps and stops but I’m in a better routine and headspace and motivated to keep doing the thing! It’s not easy but it is simple.

you should jump to a 4 day fast. For most people day 4 is when you wake up with 0 cravings for food. Once you experience that the shorter fasts become a whole lot easier. On the way there it also gives you a better chance to explore your cravings and thus figure out how to deal with them.

Happy Birthday that’s amazing and great self control. I hope I can reach that level. I’m the complete opposite I give birthdays and holidays “free days”. If it wasn’t for the holidays, and my birthday which is also in dec, I would be 10lbs smaller lol. Great job, keep it up, u inspired me!
