What is a normal percentage to lose on average over time
did a inbody scan recently and revealed 20% fat which is consistent with what my wyze scale is
i have dropped from 165 to 145 since october
does not appear to have lost muscle mass have mixed of water fasting and 18:6 or 16:8

There are some numbers you can use for a start point, but keep in mind it is much more complicated than the few variables used in these calculations.
Adipose tissue can provide 30 cal/day/lb. So 20% of 145 is 29 lbs of fat, you have about 870 cal/day available.
One pound of fat holds 3500 cals. So it can be estimated you can lose 1 lb of fat every 4 days without losing muscle mass.
Other things to consider:
- your body has glycogen stores to burn up that isn’t accounted for in the energy balance.
- fat, glycogen, and electrolytes hold water. Your body will flush water while using these stores and that will affect your total weight and % body fat.
