Is it just the time that you get to work in the morning? Or is it like all day? An all day thing is probably an issue. A once or twice a day thing usually I the morning is normal and has nothing to do with work but the time it takes for your food to be digested and move through your intestines over night. Most people who eat a relatively healthy diet will do a no.2 int he morning. Some people need a coffee or water or food to move that along but it’s pretty normal.

Stress, chronic tension or anxiety can trigger bowel movements because our brains and gut communicate. For some, these emotions can lead to increased bowel movements but the reverse can happen too - constipation. I’m prone to tension constipation and it sucks. My BMs are healthy and daily at home but staying with my parents with their health issues? I cook for them and my diet is the same, but I can go days without pooping. No amount of Miralax, water, stool softeners will get me going.
