Eating amino acids will stop the process of autophagy, which is generally what you’re trying to up-regulate during a fast.
It’s unclear how long it will stop autophagy for; but I think it’s better to avoid it if you can.
If drinking bone broth is the only way you can get through a fast, then it is what it is.
