I’m currently doing 18/6.. what are you breaking your fast with?
I’m still newer to IF (been doing it for almost a month). I usually eat home made oatmeal from large flake oats, with apple and cinnamon. Sometimes, I will make a sandwich with whole wheat bread, hummus, meats and whatever veggies I have on hand. It all depends what I am feeling. I try to get a decent balance of my macros in my first meal.
It’s winter, so I do a light soup (usually homemade) because I find liquids with a moderate amount of calories are easier on my system to ease into my main meal. Once the weather is better, I might move to a protein shake. I know people do a big meal right away, but I can’t!
