Breaking 72h fast

I’m 2/3 through a 72hr fast, what would you recommend breaking it with? And eating times until I can eat properly? Should I be eating small portions sporadically or does it not matter too much unless you’re doing a longer day 7day+ fast?

I have found best results from drinking bone broth about 30-45 minutes before my first meal. Also adding 1/2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to water and drinking that after the meal.

As to what to eat generally just try to make it a low glycemic food, eat slow and don’t eat too much too quickly.

Every system is different. Some can’t even eat a regular meal too fast without puking. Me? I have broken 96 hour fasts with ribs and fried chicken. I’m breaking this current one with pizza because that’s what my daughter wants to eat.

Break your fast with whatever you want. Don’t pig out. If you’re trying to eat healthier foods I’d recommend going with those as the first meal after a fast is usually tasty whatever it is. I’ve been breaking my fasts with things like quinoa, spinach kale smoothies, etc
