Brushing teeth on DF

I am learning about oral health and that the teeth “poop” and that waste needs to be cleaned out. I would assume the teeth excrete even more waste during a dry fast. Would brushing your teeth and rinsing with water break the fast? I would assume it would but it seems like it can be very beneficial especially if you are trying to heal oral issues. Thoughts?

Answer

First it is recommended to not rinse with water after brushing, here is a quick article to read about it.

Second, I find that the stinky breath that comes with dry fasting awful so I brush with a dry tooth brush and a little tooth paste to try to keep the stink down.
