Post/comment removed. This subreddit does not allow requesting or giving advice pertaining to a medical condition, including past diagnoses and future goals. Eating disorders are serious medical conditions and future health goals should be done under qualified medical professional supervision.
My advice would be to set the limit to something ridiculous like 10,000 or 20,000 so that you won’t come close. That way you can still track your calories and you know that the “limit” is a giant arbitrary number.
USDA offers a free app. MyPlate
It starts with “goal” setting but it’s not numeric. More like “get healthier” “snack on a fruit” “add vegetables to lunch.”
Then it offers ‘tips’ healthy meal suggestions. It tracks goals achieved, awards badges. I didn’t see any hard limits.
Upvoting and commenting so you hopefully get an answer. I dont/didnt have ED but I agree, I dont like being told im over my limit or under, I just wanna track my macros and know how much im eating… i wish you luck :)
