Can I go on a 4 day water fast and be fine?

I’m 19M and I don’t really have another choice to eat for the next 4 days so I’m wondering if I will be okay just drinking water. I work at a desk, normal weight and I don’t workout. Not looking for any results but some result would be great lol

Fasting for 4 days if you’ve never fasted before could be rough. Highly recommend dried rice and beans to get you rough patches for very little. Follow instructions for soaking and cooking for the beans to ensure you don’t have gastric distress. As others said, don’t be afraid to try a pantry as well. For sure you’ll be fine. But it’s going to be an experience redifining your relationship with hunger.And you’re going to feel a little weak. You’re probably won’t do your best work in the next 4 days.

You’ll be fine. Office jobs are good for fasting but be careful standing up from chairs and take the stairs easy. Do every action slower than normal. Also if you are getting too stressed at work you might want to stop the fast. The perfect environment for a fast is not working at all…being at home relaxing and going on walks can also be good.

You might want to enter ketosis (remove carbs, sugars days before) before starting the fast. You’ll have an easier time.

Take electrolytes daily, and like someone said have some quick acting carbs on hand like fruit juice or gels etc encase you feel disy, version starts to go. This can happen due to low blood pressure but some carbs will reverse that straight away.

It’s hard to tell if you’ll be fine without knowing at least your weight and height, if not a bit more; not sure why people are saying yes for sure without asking that.

If you have enough fat on your body, sure, but if you’re too close to the low end of the right weight for you I think it could be unsafe.

If you need access to food please definitely check out a local food bank or a charity organization! If you’re near a university there are sometimes options on campus, though I’m not sure if they’re always open to the public.

I am at 97 hours of a 116 hour fast. 52m. Just did water and some unsweet tea. Ive felt fine. Of course everyone is different. But I would guess you will be fine. The nice thing about fasting. You can Always stop. Ive biked. Walked. Etc. no issues. And weirdly. No real hunger.
