Can intermittent fasting lower your neutrophils and WBC (white blood cell count)?

I recently read some studies that shows fasting can lower neutrophils and WBC.

Is this true?

Does anyone here have low WBC and/or neutrophils because of intermittent fasting?

Answer

I just had bloodwork done and it was pretty much pristine (yay!) except for low WBC and neutrophils. Dr wasnt super worried but getting it rechecked in 6 months.

I’ve been IFing since June, usually 20:4, sometimes a little more or less.
