Answer

My experience has not been that your body will get accustomed to foods. It’s more likely a change in your gut, like probiotics or that the gut is healing and better suited for processing. For years I thought I couldn’t handle dairy. Turns out it was a soy problem. The longer I stayed away from soy the more my intestines healed, and I was able to process more dairy. I can also eat a little soy if my guys have had time to heal but if I eat it multiple times a week I get really bad results. I’d day your best bet is to eat those foods sparingly if you absolutely want to eat them. You should work tofind a set of safe foods that your body can handle and try to stick with that for a while.
