It’s my understanding that most artificial sweeteners still cause an insulin response as your body still thinks it’s going to have to metabolize sugar… Ideally just eat less sugar. If you are going to ingest artificial sweeteners I’ve been told it’s best also to have some form of sugar for your body to deal with so don’t just have insulin floating around and screwing up your feedback system (I’m not a doctor, obv, but that’s an overly simplified version of what I was able to piece together from a friend who is).
