Can you buy unfortified milk in the US?

All the milks that I can find on the Internet that are sold in the US have added Vitamin D. Is this done by law?

Edit:

Thanks for all your answers so far! I’m interested in knowing also, is there a specific law by which this fortification is mandatory?

Answer

You can usually only find unfortified or unpasteurized milk at Farmers Markets because that kind of milk has been banned for sale across state lines.

There’s the Raw Milk Institution that has a list of the farms where you can access unfortified/unpasteurized milk, but beware that raw milk can make you uproariously sick.
