Can you dry fast and drink very small amounts of water while you exercise?

I want to dry fast and don’t want to give up on my current exercise regime or pause it. Will just drinking a little bit of water during exercise fuck up the whole fast?

My interpretation is that I’ll sweat and use up that water very quickly and be back into a dry fast after exercise.

Although sometimes when I hear people talk about rehydrating very well before or after a dry fast, so I worry maybe there is a reason to the need to rehydrate fully if you were to drink any water ever.

Let me know if you know anything about this. Thanks!

Answer

No, it is no longer a dry fast. Breathe out of your nose. It’s still a fast, but not a dry fast even if you drink an ounce of water. But realize an ounce of water will likely just make you more thirsty

I think it mess up everything, that’s why hard dry fast doesn’t even allow contact with water. It needs to come from internal. I was peeing 3 times a day dry fasting, you don’t need to drink

At the beginning i think it’s not safe to do the usual acrobat stuff i do, just take the time to hike the nature and do internal martial arts like Qigong or taichi, it’s all about shadow, femininity and within when it comes to df

Answer

It depends on how much water you drink. Basically, drinking less water than what you need in a day and the body responds appropriately by that degree of fasting. Fasting is not a black and white thing. The less water you drink the more you experience dry fasting. Keep it 5 or less sips a day. And those dry fasting effects still manifest especially the longer you go in the fast because the reserves continue to draw down a lot
