Yes. If there is anything stuck in you and your body is trying to digest it, you will start getting hungry and thirsty. You should do an enema if this is the case. Happened to me on two different fasts on days 2 and 3. To prevent it I am going to do just juices (master cleanse) for 2 days prior and a then a salt water flush the morning before I start my fast. One quart lukewarm water with 2 tsp unionized salts. This should clean everything out. You will need to be by a toilet for a couple hours.If you are thinking of doing an enema during the other reasons I think it’s ok but not sure it’s necessary. I believe Dr Filomov’s book says they are not necessary when doing water fasts except in the situation above maybe.
