Has anyone had a pos/neg experience on the carnivore diet?
I ate a mostly carnivore diet (low carb, high fat animal based) for the past 11 months and have almost completely reversed my high cholesterol and inflammatory markers… something my doctor said would not be possible. I’ve been able to completely avoid cholesterol and blood pressure medication by eating this way. Tons of details about how I ate and the blood tests I had done here: https://old.reddit.com/r/SaturatedFat/comments/shym8k/the_power_of_this_diet_my_10_month_n1_experiment/
This has been discussed here many times: https://www.reddit.com/r/nutrition/search/?q=carnivore&restrict_sr=1&sr_nsfw=
Currently on a mostly carnivorous diet my acne has reduced I’ve had great muscle function and noticed I have more endurance but i still think you should eat a normal balanced diet I’m only on this diet because its what I prefer to eat
