Changing my eating window results in a plateau or even weight gain!

I do keto and IF. I usually eat breakfast at 12pm-2pm and eat dinner 6-8pm before college started for an entire month. After uni started, because I have uni from 8.30am to 5pm, I shifted the eating window. So, I eat breakfast at 8am and eat dinner at 6-7pm and fast until 8am the next day. Since I started doing this change, my weight loss is much slower and in a plateau and maybe even drastic weight gain the next day even though I eat the same thing before this eating window shift. What am I doing wrong?

Seems like the eating window is bigger now? 12-8 (8 hours) vs 8-6 or 7? (11 hours?) So your fasting time is less? If I’m reading correctly. That will result in what you’re experiencing. For me, eating late (meaning before I sit down for the night) also hinders progress. My window is 9-5 or 10-6 so that there are several hours between eating my last meal and sleeping, and I’ve found that helps tremendously.
