Chicken, fish, beef, etc. Which is the cleanest meat?

I am nervous about the hormones, micro plastics, and heavy metals that meat can have. I have no interest in becoming vegan, however I am curious. Which of these meats are overall the most “clean”?

Answer

There’s no such thing. “Clean” is a term made up to convince people to buy certain products.

Now if you’re talking specifically about pesticides or something, you can dig into that data. It’s more about where your food is coming from and how the animals are cared for. Don’t fall for the whole “clean” or “dirty” food thing. It’s too oversimplified to be helpful

Answer

Microplastics have been found in the most remote places in the world like Mount Everest. We’re all infected. I’m fortunate to live in a community with lots of local farms. I can buy from farmers who I know personally and know how they raise their livestock. I know that’s not a possibility for everyone, though.

Answer

In my personal opinion, you’re way overthinking your meat intake.

Stick to chicken breast, if you want seafood, shrimp or a white fish like tilapia, but have some red meat at least every now and then.

Answer

Buy products where they’re allowed to consume a normal diet. Then everything else is relative, method of preparations, your specific goal, your dietary needs, etc. Any argument can be made for any type of meat.

Answer

I mean if we’re going for purity sake. Game meat is probably top tier, also more nutrient dense. However, all meat is good assuming quality is there first.

Can always buy directly from a farm or local sourced butcher.
