Clarity on broth please

I’ve seen SO many posts about “how to break a fast” and most people suggest bone broth. But then I see other posts about using bone broth during a fast for the electrolytes, since it doesn’t technically take you out of a fast. So clarification is needed please because I’m on the side of “broth doesn’t break a fast, therefore I cannot end a fast with broth”. I hope this isn’t a ridiculous topic to bring up 😅 but every day I see these posts contradicting themselves and I need to understand if I’m missing something?

Answer

Definitely not a redicious topic to bring up.

The bone broth people are generically discussing for breaking a fast contains a small number of calories that technically breaks a fast. I personally haven’t had any issues with breaking a fast with regular food.
