Dude you have to understand to all theses methods are good, you just have to pick one that works for you. Just experiment.

Omad type is really good for getting ripped fast if you really stick to one meal at night + exercise day, rince and repeat.

I started with 48h - 1 meal but it was a bit to hardcore to begin with, so switched to omad and I’m still on it it’s been 3 weeks. So far feels great, lost almost all my food addiction and I’m 2kg from my default weight. Sooo yeah definitely worth it

Answer

He recommends whatever works…he just gets hyped up about one thing or the other and his focus becomes singular as he tries different things that work for him at that moment. I do keto OMAD and it’s the thing that works the absolute best for me. Pragmatism should be the focus in all goals. Ask and see: What works, what doesn’t. Eliminate what doesn’t. Keep what does. Try OMAD, try straight keto, try low carb. Try carb back loading. Try if it fits your macros, or just counting calories..Etc etc

Answer

Look at his YouTube. He’s constantly switching up and changing his opinions on different things. He’ll say he supports OMAD and then he’ll go and say not to do it. I think he’s like this because he’s constantly changing how he’s experimenting with his OWN diet and OWN body, but this gives mixed signals to his viewers, obviously. In the end Cole is just a human looking for answers just like us, fortunately he’s doing a lot of the legwork and sharing his own experiences and different results.

You can pretty much try any one of his routines/approaches. He creates different content for different minded people with varying lifestyles. Don’t complicate it it too much and definitely don’t put Cole on a pedestal. He’s been wrong and made mistakes before (but haven’t we all).

Whatever diet you choose, just

  1. Maintain a calorie deficit
  2. Stay consistent on your plan - don’t deviate too much

I have been on keto for about 2 weeks (started with a 48H fast that kicked me into Ketosis) and then eat 1 meal a day within a 4 hour window (the only carbs are veggies that are fiber and only a small amount) and have been losing waist size and weight plus no more bloating.

Goal is to maintain/gain muscle (workout 3X a week) and lose BF.
