Completed 92 hour fast—had to break due to fatigue and muscle weakness (24m, 190lbs)

I began supplementing electrolytes on day three, but perhaps wasn’t doing it correctly. I was able to do intense workouts until day four. I believe I was short on magnesium. Going to try a longer fast next month. Also switching to whole plant food diet.

Broke the fast with broccoli and bone broth. Slightly disappointed in myself, but I think I can improve next time. I am of medium build and was doing the fast primarily for fat lost and mental clarity.

Any tips/fasting product to help me next time?

I’ve heard ppl say that if you’re going to do a long fast, to start electrolytes on day 1.

Sure, some ppl can do 20 day fasts with water only, some ppl need electrolytes early on (I’m one of them).

Probs with fatigue and such is about electrolytes. So keep trying and fine tuning until you get out right for you and your body. Might take several tries.
