Confused about blood sugar at 36 hours

I’m currently fasting in an effort to get myself back into ketosis after a break. I’m at 36 hours, and was hoping to be able to break my fast soon. I just check my blood sugar after an intense workout with a keto mojo and my blood sugar is 91 and 0.2 ketones. For reference, yesterday my blood sugar was 79 - it’s gone up! I’m so confused. All I’ve consumed is water, sugar free electrolyte powder, and one drink with erythritol. What am I doing wrong???

Answer

Your blood sugar goes up with intense exercise (glucose created by your liver). Ketones and body fat take a while to create and metabolize and with intense exercise it needs quicker energy. Muscles will create lactate which will be recycled into glucose by the liver.

Intense exercise really isn’t helpful for fat loss for this reason.

Answer

Fake sugar is not good for you and can raise your blood sugar levels. (They can also drop rapidly after raising) Also exercise for some reason can also temporarily raise blood sugar levels right after.
