From what I’ve seen, she recommends various fasting protocols depending on someone’s health status but I find focusing too much on the specifics, at least in the beginning, can be a bit overwhelming. I follow her protocols very loosely, mainly fasting the most during the follicular phase, taking a break from fasting during ovulation and the late luteal phase, and generally eating a nutrient dense diet. Maybe you could try starting with the basics and playing around with the specific diet recommendations as time goes on?
I’ve seen Megan Ramos say that fasting tends to be more difficult during the second half of the cycle (after ovulation). So it may be better to just do something easier during that stretch, and do most of your fasting during the first half of the cycle.
For instance, during the second half you could focus on meal timing, eating unprocessed foods, or “fat fasting”. All of those are a little bit easier, and simpler.
