Day 1 : Doing a 16:8 , weight loss

Starting to use notion to keep habit tracking and also using Life app to keep track of fasts.

Drank just coffee this morning without inhaling biscuits and feeling like I already lost weight :)

Answer

Day 1: Restarting my IF habit. 16:8 from 9am-6am.

I used to have a fairly solid habit and lost 30lbs before life knocked me on my butt (loss of a family member, lost job, debilitating injury from car crash, severe anxiety and depression, etc) and I began stress eating to cope, even though it made things worse overall. I gained it all back, I feel self-conscious, and it sucks.

I know I need to jump back on the train and get my groove back, but I keep making excuses. I need someone (or something?) to keep me accountable. Hopefully the daily check in is enough. Is there a recommended app to help?

Answer

Normal Intermittent fasting for 16 hours, day off slept 12 hours, breaking fast here shortly

Helps maintain my ravings and helps with fat loss

30mins of zone 3 of cardio each day and a 3 day split of weight training. have lost 45lbs over this past year, going to start bulking up lightly this year coming up

Fasting has really helped i feel super focused and energized in the morning or whenever i get up when i don’t eat for a few hours. i highly recommend Intermittent fasting for people

Answer

Day 1: Currently in eating period for a 8/16. Will only consume water during the 16.

Hoping to loose weight, just calorie counting has done absolutely nothing for me regarding weight, so I figured why not try fasting? I had breakfast (normal amount as usual) and my stomach is convinced I’m still hungry 🙃
