Day 3 of 16:8 for me! Today was the hardest so far. I was ravenous at 7am and 10am and 11am. Just kept telling myself “it’s okay to feel hungry” and “I can eat in an hour” and I made it through to noon. Feeling really proud that I’m showing myself I can have self control and feel okay with feeling hungry.

Been doing OMAD for the last two days, working well, so might as well keep up. Also restricting calories (1200 or less if I am not hungry/feeling full).

YW: 293.1TW: 291.8Total loss since Monday: 4.9 lbs

Will have coffee with oat milk (less than 50 calories) in the morning. Lots of water (around 120 oz of plain tea or water with lime juice). Dinner with husband- not sure what yet.

15 mins of medium exercise (just starting again and have asthma that I need to monitor)

IF with Keto, minimum of 16.5 hour fast, but no upper limit. No calorie counting, no macro counting.

2 days in, down 1.8#. Resting HR down fr 82 bpm to 78. Sleep score went from average in the 70s to 86 last night (fitbit sleep score and HR bpm)

I use an app called Ate to “track” my food through photos (also has a built in fast timer 😃) and a journalling feature.

I followed this fasting plan last year in Feb for 3 weeks… lost 14# then gave up because my mindset wasn’t right and ended right back where I was last year. This year I am working on food, movement and mindset consciously, goals to lose 75#, reduce my resting HR and sleep better.

Omad Keto since Saturday 1st Jan.Managed to stick on nearly 20kg in the last few years and finally got fed up.

I was 105kg (231lb) on Friday night and was 101kg (222 lb) last night so heading the right direction.

Have been on and off keto since 2013 but fell off the wagon completely during the pandemic whilst working at home…I’ve put on 12kg (26lbs) in the past 12 months just grabbing a snack with every cup of coffee..I knew what I was doing but lacked willpower.

Going well so far…just trying to get the amount of fat right to see.me through the day.

Got on my bike in the garage for Zwift last night for the first time in 6 months and destroyed myself…will be back on it tonight for another hour of endurance. I will definitely have a calorie deficit as well as being in ketosis..

Goal weight is around 180lb / 82kg

Been fasting for years for religious reasons started IF 2020 and did Keto lost about 80 pounds went to low carb from keto gained about 15 pounds back so currently doing 6:1 fast drinking water coffee and broth did extended fast before max 14 days but want to see how long I can keep this 6:1 fasting up my goal is 2-3 months goal is to lose 30 pounds started 1/2/22 currently on day 3 SW 181 CW:178 GW 150s I think the 6:1 will be more manageable than straight 30 day fast b/c a lot of social events are centered around food so that frees up 1 day for that and I schedule around social events I’ll let you know how it goes
