Week 2 Day 6,

OMAD, couple of 2MADs, and some 48s.

Just coming off a 42 hour fast, did a short but relatively intense workout, thought I’d get some extra food in a couple of hours before dinner, so I had a baked avacado with two eggs and a little cheese. And now feel very full 😅 Hopefully I will be a little more hungry when dinner rolls around in an hour and a half. Plan to do a 40 hour after dinner tonight to Sunday lunch.

Fasting for weight loss.

Moral of the story; if you want to feel full, eat an avacado, eggs and cheese.

Day 13Still averaging 18 hour fasts daily. I started lower carb yesterday in an attempt to curb cravings. Really happy with my 6lb loss in nearly 2 weeks.

Day 49, now on OMAD. For a week the scale had stalled, but in the post two days I’ve dropped 4 lbs which is reassuring.

Spareribs were on sale yesterday, so I had an extra special treat today. I had it with famous Dave’s no sugar added bbq sauce (first time I tried it, pretty good) and I made some steamed broccoli and a cabbage salad on the side.

Week 10

Yesterday I didn’t plan or think and ate white bread for lunch. And for dinner brown bread with egg and cheese. For compensation I did eat tomatoes and paprika. But today ofcourse I gained almost a kilo carb/water weight.

Planning is key, so I already prepared a carbfree dish for tonight with a lot of vegetables and a sausage. I don’t know yet if I ‘have to’ lunch with my boss today… if not I’ll do omad.

TGIF! I hope everyone is closing out the week with desired results so far. Today is cardio day for me 🏃🏾‍♀️. I will also do some ab/core work. As far as what I’m eating, I’m thinking of either finishing the last bit of chili 🍛 or change it up and order some healthy takeout. I need to go grocery shopping 🛒.

Yesterday within 2-3 hours before my eating window, I think I was going through ketosis. I had stomach pains. It felt like a gigantic hunger pain and cramp wrapped into one but I held on until my eating window. I was going through it though.

Day5 of Week25, IF, 18/6

Today is 87,1kg down from the 88,2kg yesterday at the 24h mark of the 48h fast.

Seems I’ve done well enough with the prefeeding this time. No sense hunger in the first 24h hours. Not even when I’m trying to plan out what will be the reentry meal.

The 1.1kg drop overnight shows that this still was water retention, so I’m happy to know my theory about carbs was correct.

I don’t think I’ll hit a new record low empty weight by tomorrow, but I hope I’ll at least maintain the 86,3kg of the last week.

I’m thinking about making Shashlik, but not sure if I’ll be able to get some meat on the menu that could be a good candidate for such meals.

It sure would be low-carb and high protein if I can manage, but if not, then I’ll aim for fake lasagne unless I come across some other options in the meantime.

Almost done with Friday, good folk so all I can do is to wish everyone a relaxing weekend! ;)

Notes: I fasted 20 hours yesterday, but then ate more than I had intended. Am bummed about that, but trying to focus on more positive aspects.

Yesterday just had coffee and a lunch (sandwich on homemade sourdough, whole avocado, strawberries and blueberries) around noon and today will break my fast at noon with coffee, a sandwich and chips (it’s Friday!), then light supper around 5 and one drink (concert) but early, will wrap it by 7.

ETA: 5’9”, 140-145lb, 54 years, fasting to maintain lean not lose weight. Weekly schedule mostly 16/8 but two days of OMAD.
