Hello! 🥰 I have just restarted IF after a few months off.

I’m doing 16:8, fasting from 9pm until 1pm.Day 1 today (well, last night at 9pm).Water and vaping during fasting times.Feeling okay on day 1! We’ll see how the week goes. I need to lose weight - I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been.

IF 9pm-5pm, soup or snack at 5 then dinner with OH at 7, been going 2 weeks on various times, this seems to give me best result. Want to lose 20lb more by beginning April (family event to attend) and just started Keto last night.

I am feeling so good! Happier moods, sharper brain and digestion is behaving itself for the first time in years. .

I’m doing a 20:4 fast.

With one exception - I have two espresso shots in a third of a cup of oatmilk when I wake up.

I don’t eat until 1:00 p.m. and I stop eating after 5:00 p.m.

I try to get in as much protein as I can so it usually looks like a full meal and then a snack a few hours later.

It works for me because I’m not expending a lot of energy working at home anyway and there’s no need to eat more than one meal a day.

So, 4 hours eating window seems to be working.

Fasting always is what helps me because I don’t have to freak out about measuring and weighing food and I don’t have to count my calories and macros and plan ahead of time. I just decide to myself that for my one meal I’m going to eat whatever the hell I want and make sure it has a decent amount of the good stuff. No limits on dressings or toppings or anything like that. Gimme.

First day of IF, without much for caloric restriction. Just paying attention to what I eat. Fast starts at 4PM, ends at 8 AM (16:8).

I want to stop feeling so sluggish mentally, and feel more energetic throughout the day. But my job demands various athletic testing, so if IF compromises it I’ll have to find an alternative or adjust it.

I felt great this morning skipping my post workout shake and saving it until breaking my fast. Currently the evening here and the hunger is kicking in, no idea how I’ll sleep tonight but we’ll see. Planning this for the long term!

Doing ADFWater fastTomorrow is the first day! Hoping to do this indefinitely.I want to be less distracted by food and get back to my precovid body. I’m a little nervous since I’ve with my partner who always offers me food 🙃
