Day 1/5 - Mon May 7th - Share your goals, share your strategy, share your success!

Fasting is both easy and difficult. No logging, no elaborate shopping (save money!), and all you have to do is.. nothing. Don't eat. Stephen King: “Amateurs sit and wait for inspiration, the rest of us just get up and go to work.” -- this is the quote I'm using today. My last 5 day fast I didn't overthink it, I saw others planned to start and I wanted that accountability so jumped right in. It worked. Strategy: Continue to learn programming to give myself success boosts (I made major strides with FCC yesterday!), set up my sewing machine to get back to work on a quilt and hopefully some simple summer dresses for my toddler, and check in often on here AND in the discord. This is a personal/emotional success for me, but I finally unsubscribed to /r/1200isplenty. I got shouted down for daring to call my late night snacking a “binge” and I’m sick of them and their eating disorder mentality. I’m sticking to the fasting subs where people aren’t eating, but so much better off mentally and emotionally.
