Day 1: Introduction and my first dry fast!

Hello! I'm a lurker who finally mustered up the courage to post here. It's encouraging to have a community of folks who are taking their health into their own hands. Anyway, some details about me and this fast: - 33/Female/5'5" - SW: 195 lbs - CW: 192 lbs - GW: 135 lbs I've done water fasts and snake juice fasts up to 48 hours, but then I'd just go back to old overeating habits and screw it all up. I recently got down to 189 and then decided to celebrate with healthy foods. Dumb. That's exactly how I ended up close to 200 lbs anyway. Anyway, I'm currently 27 hours into a 72 hour hard dry fast that will last until Monday at 3 pm. I feel fine. Did light gardening, grocery shopped for hubby and ran some errands. Not hungry or experiencing cravings. Pre-Fasting: I ate pineapple and a salty chicken veggie pho soup before beginning the fast. Refeeding Plan: I plan to break this fast with coconut water, pineapple and cucumber salad with lemon juice and a little salt. Perhaps I'll add some sardines. The goal is to keep the meal light, then roll into another 72 dry and repeat hopefully until goal weight. Backup Plan: Snake Juice I'll share before and after photos and a new weight Monday night. I'm writing this post to hold myself accountable but to also share the journey with others who are curious lurkers like I was. Thanks for reading.

Day 1 Update: I was able to do a 20 minute yin yoga deep stretch routine at hour 29. I wonder if this can help with the muscle fatigue that some people experience during dry fasting. I felt perfectly fine after doing it.
