I’m starting this one meal a day any advice on how I should go about it
Eat real food, *as much of it as you want*. Real food being meat, non-starchy veg, and healthy fats like (preferably) tallow, lard, or ghee. Other suitable fat alternatives are extra virgin olive oil, avocado oil, or coconut oil.
Plan your meals out!
Your first week or two can be rough as your body adjusts to lower sugar/processed foods. Your body will also feel fuller longer with fats and proteins. Every so often I randomly just eat a spoonful of peanut butter after my meal to give me an extra dose of fat.
Also, if you hit days where you just can’t follow OMAD - don’t worry. Do a less strict IF schedule that day and restart the next day. Shoot for progress, not perfection.
