As inspired by an Uber driver who challenged me to challenge myself with a multiple day fast, and shared his own experience with using long fasts to cure brain fog, reduce anxiety, and control burnout.
Past experience with 72 hour fasting. Certainly not going to beat myself up if I need to stop short, but I feel motivated to try to change my sorry state of “living” right now. Would love to hear from other folks in the midst of their own challenge fasts!
That uber driver may have been Gandhi ☺️.I’m on day 17 of my fast. The first 7 days felt like the body was adjusting. Challenges for me are keto breath (ew) and a heightened sense of smell, accepting that I have less strength, and also filling my time. Cooking shows, learning about food breakdown in the body, and gaining insights into health have been most rewarding.
Wishing you a successful experience 💛
